- Your First Call - It is important to contact our church office as early as possible to insure the date you want is open. (802-862-1151.)
- Your Second Call - If you want our pastor to officiate it is essential to contact him as well. His calendar fills up quickly.

- Your Third Call - The Church Organist expects to play for all weddings. If you have other intentions he still needs to be notified. His contact info – Mr. George Matthew ● 802-862-1151 ● email - gmatthew@middlebury.edu ● Mr. Matthew will approve any musician that shall play the organ or piano.
- Mark (our pastor) requires several meetings with him in advance of your wedding. He will arrange these with you when you contact him.
- We ask that all fees be paid prior to your wedding. We don’t want to have to chase you down on your honeymoon!
- Remember … You have to have a marriage license!
- Photography / Video Taping is allowed during the wedding ceremony at the discretion of the Bride and Groom.
- The church organist shall be paid a minimum fee of $125.00
- The church custodian shall be paid a minimum fee of $75.00
- Use of the Sanctuary, when neither principal is a member of First UMC, shall be $350.00
- Our pastor does not accept honorariums for weddings (or funerals either, for that matter!). If you feel compelled to offer him something, give him this: Stay in love with God and with each other.
