| DAYTIMERS |
 |
All are welcome to the noon Daytimers potluck on Wednesday, January 25 in the fellowship hall.
Following the luncheon, Lyric Theater will perform "Savvy Seniors".
These humorous skits will help educate seniors on the topics of identity theft and medicare fraud.
Thanks to Syndi Zook from Lyric Theater for her inspiration in creating these skits; and thanks to Margaret Welch for suggesting the event. Come see Pastor Dick Hibbert as part of the cast!

| Youth Ministry
The Timothy Society is a new community created by the youth at First United Methodist Church. At each gathering we look at our lives through the lens of the virtues that we need to employ in order to be modeling our lives as students of The Way of Jesus. Each month we will unpack a different virtue, like compassion, trust, perseverance, or responsibility, and we will consider different ways that our daily lives rely on our mastery of each virtue. Using movie clips, stories, and personal witness, we will encourage and be an example for one another.
All youth in 6th - 12th grades are welcome to join us.
We meet primarily on Sunday afternoons from 4:30 - 6:00PM

Sermon Notes on line
Visit the Pastor's Page for a word from Mark
In his preparation for the message every week Mark writes a manuscript, noting the sources for the material he uses, and occasionally including stories that don't make the Sunday morning cut - that is, stories or examples that might not have been mentioned in the message. These notes are going to be published on Sunday afternoon or Monday morning. Feel free to review them, to comment on the message, offer your opinion on what was shared.
